On June 25, the Central-south E-commerce Special Agricultural Product Matchmaking Conference and the Six New Products Launch Event were held in Changsha. The conference theme was “Internet Plus Agriculture”. Hundreds of agricultural product suppliers participated and promoted Hunan’s special agricultural products.

He Jianping, president of Hunan Central-South Commodity E-commerce Co., Ltd. (Central-south E-commerce), said that his company has responded to industrial trends and adopted an online shopping-based omnichannel supply chain model to promote the development of six industries including tea, cereals, camellia oil, honey, cotton, and rice.

Leading enterprises of the six industries, such as Hunan Tea Group and Liuyanghe Group, signed cooperation agreements with related companies worth 190 million CNY. This promotes agricultural product sales via online-to-offline business models.

Founded in 2009, Central-south E-Commerce is mainly engaged in online sales, ordering, warehouse receipts pledges, and warehouse logistics. It is dedicated to expanding and transforming its offline business to online commerce. Currently more than 100 companies have started business on the platform.
