28 Hunan Enterprises’ Participation in “Chinese Brands Day” Activities

The First Exposition on China Indigenous Brand is being held in Shanghai between May 10 and 12, 2018.

The Exposition on China Indigenous Brand and the International Forum on China Brand Development, two major events for the “Chinese Brands Day”, are being held in Shanghai between May 10 and 12, 2018. Member of the CPC Hunan Provincial Standing Committee and Executive Vice Governor Chen Xiangqun visited the Hunan Pavilion on the afternoon of May 9, 2018.

In late April 2017, the State Council approved the Chinese Brands Day, which will fall on May 10 every year. This year marks the first session of “Chinese Brands Day” activities. The three-day exposition had a theme of “China Brand, World Sharing”, aiming to display the development of China’s homegrown brands, to increase the popularity and influence of brands, and to introduce China’s brand’s overall image. Fifty provincial delegations and key Central SOEs attended.

It was learnt from the Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission that there are 28 Hunan enterprises participating in the expo, including Zoomlion, Hunan Valin Group, Hunan Huasheng Group, BROAD Group, SANY, Truking Technology Limited, Longping Hi-Tech, Hunan Xiangfeng Tea Industry Co., Ltd., Fruitops Foods Co., Ltd., Hunan Broadcasting System, and Hunan Shan Mao Jim Media Corporation.

In recent years, Hunan has vigorously implemented brand strategy. There are now 402 well-known brands across the province, topping central and western China.
