Governor Xu Inspects Construction Work of National Sci-Tech University Town

Governor Xu Dazhe inspected the Yuelu Mountain National University Science and Technology Town construction work in Changsha on December 12, 2018. He called for better inheriting and protecting the thousand-year-old historical and cultural resources, and striving to create a good environment for innovation and entrepreneurship. Efforts should be made in major projects implementation to promote close integration of production, education, and research. This would help to build a national leading cradle of independent innovation, a place for transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and a gathering place of high-end talents, he added.
 
Provincial leaders Chen Fei and Wu Guiying; Yi Hong, CPC CSU Committee secretary; Tian Hongqi, CSU president; and, Wang Qun, Hunan Provincial People’s Government secretary general also participated in the tour.
 
Governor Xu has been very concerned about the progress of the Yuelu Mountain National Science and Technology University Town construction. He has paid many visits to the Central South University, Hunan University, Hunan Normal University, and relevant companies of the town.
