Secretary Du Meets with Honeywell Guests

Secretary Du said, “Honeywell is a well-known ‘hundred-year-old enterprise’ in global aerospace field. It has maintained a good cooperative relationship with Boyun New Materials of Hunan province. They collaborated in developing a wheel brake system which has promoted the national large aircraft industry development. Honeywell’s booming in China in recent years fully proves that, enterprises closely integrating their technologies with Chinese talents, and their own development with the Chinese market, will fully meets the development trend.”
 
He continued, “Hunan's equipment manufacturing, rail transportation, aerospace, new materials, and other industries have sound foundation, abundant talents, and competitive advantages. I hope Honeywell will seize the opportunity of the rise of the central China and set up a regional research and development center in Hunan, to continuously deepen mutual cooperation in such fields as new materials, artificial intelligence, and prefabricated construction. Hunan will, as always, create a good environment for Honeywell's investment and development in Hunan.”
 
Zhang remarked that China is an important part of Honeywell's global development strategy. Honeywell will increase investment in Hunan, and actively expand collaboration between the two sides in the areas of characteristic materials and technology, intelligent building technology, and the Industrial Internet of Things, while expanding and strengthening existing industries, to achieve greater results.
 
Provincial leaders Hu Henghua and Zhang Jianfei, together with Huang Boyun, Chinese Academy of Engineering academician, attended.
