National Constitution Day Marked in Hunan

China celebrates its fourth Constitution Day on December 4. Publicity and education campaigns are being conducted nationwide to increase social awareness of law.

About China’s Constitution Day:


On December 4, 1982, the fifth Session of the fifth NPC Standing Committee adopted the current Constitution of the People’s Republic of China.


On November 1, 2014, the 11th Session of the 12th National People’s Congress (NPC) Standing Committee designated December 4 as “National Constitution Day” .
