The Hunan Provincial Public Security Department held a press conference on April 26, 2018. It announced that since May 1, a “one-stop” work system for passports and other entry-exit permits application will be fully implemented in Hunan. The applicant can complete all the application procedures at the entry-exit reception window one time.
The “one-stop” system includes:
1. Optimized application procedure
The required procedures on image and fingerprint data collection, application materials submission, face-to-face verification, and fees of certificates, used to be handled at different times and in different places. But now all of these are to be done at the same time and place.
2. “Green access”
The urgent application scope is expanded. Green access will be offered to those who go abroad to participate in conference and making negotiation, sign contracts, and students who have lost their valid certificates or whose certificates have been damaged at the time when their school days are approaching.
3. “Non-business day” services
The off-peak and delay application services are available for office workers on Saturday, in application peak hour, and before holiday.
4. Shorter off-site permit handing time
The examination and approval time limit for trans-provincial entry-exit permit application is shortened from 30 days to 20 days.
5. “One application form” valid
Only one application form is required when applying for multiple permits at the same time. And they can be sent simultaneously according to the applicant’s needs.
6. “All-in-one” network
The applicant can make an appointment in advance via the Internet booking and appointment platform, so that he/she can apply for the exit-entry permit at the reception window according to appointed time. The applicant can voluntarily choose a two-way express mailing service.
