Hunan's Mobile Internet Industry Revenue over 100 Bln CNY

Hunan’s mobile internet industry is in full swing. The Hunan Industry and Information Technology Department announced on January 3 that, the mobile internet business revenue hits 106 billion CNY, increasing by 25% over last year, and 15 times more than that in 2013. 
 
Nineteen regional headquarters of 18 mobile internet corporations have been located in Hunan by the end of 2018. Thirteen mobile internet projects have been located in the Xiangjiang New Area, including 360 Enterprise Security Group, Innovation Center of the HUAWEI CLOUD Partner Incubation Center, ETCP regional headquarter, and Scapital national headquarter; and, 18 projects in the Hunan Geographic Information Industrial Park, including the China Center for Resources Satellite Data and Application, and Jusfoun Big Data Information Group. 
 
Hunan introduced preferential policies to accelerate mobile internet business match-making and industrial development. There are 61 Hunan-based software and internet enterprises making a revenue exceeding 100 million CNY, including 13 over one billion CNY. Mango TV, and Talkweb Information, are among the top 100 internet enterprises in China. Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric is a candidate for the top 100 software producers selected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In 2018, Hunan’s software and information industrial development index was 67.09, ranking tenth nationwide, and second among central China provinces. 
 
Hunan’s mobile internet industry features professional segmentation, said a person in charge from the Hunan Industry and Information Technology Department. Industrial clusters in the fields of e-commerce, new media, mobile payment, industrial industry, big data and AI, and network security, are flourishing.
