Hunan Province achieved an added value of 1.3 trillion yuan on non-public economy sector in the first three quarters this year, up by 8.8% year on year and accounting for 59.9% of the provincial GDP total, with an increase of 0.3 percentage points. The paid-in tax amounted to 120 billion yuan, 6.0% higher than the same period last year and accounting for 53.7% of the total, according to a report announced by the Statistics Bureau of Hunan Province on Nov. 16, 2016.
The secondary industry contributed most to the non-public economy with a total added value of 654 billion yuan in the first three quarters, accounting for 73.5% of the total. Of which, the industrial enterprises above the designated size in the non-public economy reached a main business income of more than two trillion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 10.8%.
Data showed that the total actual completed investment of the non-public economy hit 1.2 trillion yuan in the first three quarters this year, accounting for 65.4% of the province total, which proved that the non-public economy has been an important driving force to enhance the economic vitality of Hunan.
