Construction of Xiangtan Passenger Transportation Hub

Introduction: the project site locates in the northwest of the new railway station.  It is adjacent to Keda Road in west and No.1 Wanlou Road in north. After completion, it will replace the current Central Bus Station. Xiangtan Passenger Transportation Hub occupying an area of 118 mu, with a  daily number of passengers being 20,000. The area of station plaza is 10,000m² and of parking yard and lane is 40,000m^2.. There are about 1000 underground parking lots. The buildings include: waiting hall, booking hall, luggage consignment room, comprehensive service room, driver and conductor room, passenger service shops, hotels and apartments.  

Policy support: the project site is submitted for approval, it has good foundation for construction.  

Benefit assessment: the income is from passenger ticket-selling service, parking yard, supporting business services and business operations. After the completion of the project, the annual income from passengers is expected to be RMB 19million and from business services is RMB 15 million. Its calculation period is 20 years and the expected investment payback period is 9.34 years.  

Total investment: USD 156.25 million
