Ginkgo Fine and Deep Processing Base Project

Introduction: the project site is situated at Baogai Town, Hengnan County, with a total floor area of 12,000mu. The project construction includes 10,000mu Ginkgo plantation garden and ecological leisure tourist area, 400mu 200-ton Ginkgo refrigerated preservation, directly eatable white nuts and beverage production and brewery food industry park, 100mu Ginkgo preparations research center, and 1500mu health care products, medicine and cosmetics biological medicine industry park. This project aims to build a large demonstration center of agricultural industrialization mainly based on Ginkgo biloba cultivation, leisure and tourism, food processing, bio-pharmaceuticals and health care products development.

Policy guarantee: According to the Views of the State Council of on Support for Development of Leading Agricultural Industrialization Enterprises, the Views of Hunan Province People's Government on Speeding up Construction of Five Large Agricultural Industry Chains and Advancing Agricultural Industrialization Operation, the Development Planning of Hunan Province for Agricultural Products Processing during the "12th Five-year Plan", the Agricultural Industrialization Planning of Hunan Province, and the Leisure Agricultural Development Planning of Hunan Province, the Provincial Standing Committee has adopted the decision on speeding up development of agricultural industrialization operation. In 2012 Hengyang City Government at the eighth executive session adopted the Certain Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Agricultural Industrialization.
