Huawei and Projects Launched in Hunan

On April 4, Huawei HUB warehouse project - an intelligent terminal industry base, and’s Asia No. 1 project were launched in National Wangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, Changsha. The two projects have a total investment of 3.25 billion CNY.
The Huawei HUB warehouse project will cover an area of 170 mu (11 ha.), with a total investment of 750 million CNY. It will be equipped with an electronic products distribution center including intelligent terminals, ubiquitous network, and wireless device, and a three-dimensional automated warehouse. 
The 59,000-sqm HUB warehouse at the first phase will be delivered before September 30, 2019 and put into operation in April 2020.
Another HUB warehouse of the same size at the second phase will be put into service before December 2022. 
Upon completion, the warehouses will facilitate the setup of a one-hour material delivery circle in Wangcheng, the gathering of industrial chain projects, and the building of a 100 billion-CNY intelligent terminal industrial cluster.’s Asia No. 1 project in Hunan covers an area of 665 mu (44 ha.), with a total investment of 2.5 billion CNY. With E-commerce Smart Fulfillment Center as the core, it is home to a JD Big Data Cloud Computing Center, a Regional Settlement Center, an Express Distribution Center, a JD Finance and Hunan Regional Headquarter. 
The project construction will take 18 months. It is expected to be put into operation in October 2020. Total retail sales of social consumer goods can reach 10 billion CNY by then, and tax payment will exceed 100 million CNY. 
A number of leading e-commerce enterprises, such as,, and, opened offices in Wangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone.’s Asia No. 1 project in Hunan will become a vital part of Wangcheng’s logistics industry, and play an important role in accelerating deep integration of logistics and e-commerce and promoting the upgrades of Changsha e-commerce industry.
