State-level Xiangtan Jiuhua Economic and Technical Development Zone

 
 
Motivation: to construct “new urban center” in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan cluster
 
Established in 2003, Xiangtan Jiuhua Economic and Technical Zone is the demonstration and pilot area for "Two-oriented Society" reform (resource-conservation and environmental-friendly).As the Taiwanese investment zone approve by Hunan provincial government, it was approved as a state-level economic and technical zone in September, 2011.
 
With 20 square kilometers of completed areas and 100 billion of total investments, in addition to being home to as many as 230 enterprises, the zone is characterized by its three primary industries: automobile and spare parts manufacturing, electronic information and equipment manufacturing.
 
It strives to become a new economy growth pole in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan cluster and one of the advanced zones with “trillion output” in Hunan.
