13th Hunan-Taiwan Cooperation Conference on Economy & Trade to Be Held in Changsha

The 13th Hunan-Taiwan Cooperation Conference on Economy & Trade and the 2nd Cross-Strait (Changsha) Electronics Expo will be held in Changsha between November 16 and 20, 2017.

The two events are Hunan’s important economic and trade exchanges with Taiwan, and important platforms for cross-Strait economic and trade cooperation.

Themed on "Sci-Tech Innovation, Win-win Cooperation", this year's conference is devoted to establishing a platform of exchange and cooperation for cross-Strait advanced manufacturing and electronic information industries, and will invite entrepreneurs from Taiwan guilds and electrical and electronics industries. About 400 guests across Taiwan Strait will attend, including 200 Taiwan businessmen and government officials.

The theme of "Electronics Expo" this year is "Cross-Strait Cooperation, Smart Innovation, In-depth Integration, and Shared Development". The expo aims to build a platform of regional cooperation for Changsha-Taiwan industries, speed up Changsha industrial transformation and upgrading, and promote the development of the electronic information industry. Nearly 20 delegations and 14 Hunan visiting groups will be invited.

The "Electronics Expo" focuses on professional exhibitions based on electronic information and related industries. More than 400 standard booths will be set up in an area of 12,000 square meters. The expo mainly features specially designed areas and four theme pavilions (areas). The four theme areas will display robots and automation, electronic components and automotive electronics, information communication and cloud application, and smart life and consumer electronics. In addition, well-known experts from both sides of the Taiwan Strait will also be invited to exchange ideas on the topics of "smart city" and "smart manufacturing."
