The First Central China (Hunan) Export and Import Commodities Trade Fair and Taiwan Gourmet Festival kicked off at Jinxia Bonded Commodity Shopping Center on January 7, 2017. The 7-day trade fair has attracted enterprises from over 10 countries to sell their specialties.
The trade fair aims to provide a platform for Chinese people to do Spring Festival shopping. It is being held at the 3rd and 4th floors of Europe Pavilion of the Center. Covering an area of 6,000 sqm, the trade fair displays nearly 10,000 kinds of commodities from over 10 countries, including Thailand, South Korea, Laos, Malaysia, and Turkey, Italy, Spain, France, Russia, Germany, as well as New Zealand and Australia. The exhibits include daily commodities, liquor, edible oil, maternal and child supplies, leather products, high-quality agricultural products, and handicrafts and luxuries. Jewelry from Turkey and cosmetics from South Korea will also be displayed.
The event was co-sponsored by the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Hunan Sub-council, undertaken by Changsha Bureau of Commerce and Kaifu District People’s Government, organized by the Administrative Committee of Changsha Jinxia Economic Development Zone and Changsha Jinxia Bonded Logistic Center.
