International Sister Cities of Hunan

Hunan has, concentrating on economic and social development as well as enterprise's "going global" strategy, continually optimized friendly-city distribution worldwide, and expanded friendly relations with countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" Initiative, in order to promote Hunan's international associations. Hunan has established friendly-city relationship with 82 foreign cities, including 18 at provincial level, 53 at city level, and 11 at county level. This ranked 14th nationwide. Hunan’s sister cities include 15 American cities, 11 Japanese cities, 6 French cities, and 4 cities from Russia, South Korea, Vietnam, Australia, and South Africa respectively. About 35% of sister cities is distributed in Europe, 30% in Asia, 21% in America, 9% in Africa, and 5% in Oceania.
