International Sister Cities of Hunan

Friendly City is the main channel of connecting the outside world. Hunan has, concentrating on economic and social development as well as enterprise's "going global" strategy, continually optimized friendly-city distribution worldwide, and expanded friendly relations with countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" Initiative, in order to promote Hunan's international associations.

In 2016, Hunan has been approved for its establishing of friendly-city relationship with nine international cities (regions), with six agreements signed and three to be signed. As of Feb. 2017, Hunan has established friendly-city relationship with 75 foreign cities, including 17 friendly-province relations, 48 at city level, and 10 at county level.
